500 Student VISA(Higher Education)
Visa Introduction:
This visa is mainly designed for overseas students who intend to study in Australia for a Bachelor Degree, Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma, and Master by Coursework.
Visa Features:
Visa Length:
The length of the visa depends on the length of the course. The visa can be extended until the completion of the course if the student's academic requirements are not met.
Work Rights:
Before the commencement of the course, neither the visa holder nor accompanying family members are allowed to work. After the commencement of the course, the visa holder and accompanying family members can work for up to 40 hours every two weeks.
Graduation Arrangements:
The current visa policy supports students who have completed an undergraduate degree in Australia to apply for a 2-year graduate work visa.
Suitable Applicants:
Applicants who have completed their high school education in China or have an equivalent education level to 12th grade (with a high school graduation certificate and Gaokao scores)
Applicants who have completed their 11th-grade education in China or have an equivalent education level to 11th grade (with high school achievement test scores, and may apply for a foundation course in Australia)
Applicants who have graduated from technical schools or vocational colleges.
Applicants who are currently enrolled in a college or university.
Applicants who have completed a Certificate IV course or higher in Australia.

Before the commencement of studies, neither the visa holder nor the accompanying family members can work. After the commencement of studies, the visa holder and the accompanying family members can work for up to 40 hours every two weeks.

3.Graduates from technical schools or vocational colleges
4.College students
5.Those who have completed a Certificate IV or higher in Australia
IELTS Requirements:
Currently, there are two types of visas, streamlined and non-streamlined.
For streamlined applicants, the language requirements depend mainly on the admission requirements of Australian universities. There is no limit on the IELTS score for the visa application itself.
Non-streamlined applicants are required to have an IELTS score of at least 5.0 for the visa application. However, if studying in a university, the school will have special requirements for IELTS, generally requiring a total score of no less than 6.0.
Visa Financial Guarantee Requirements:
For streamlined applicants, there is no longer a requirement for a deposit guarantee. However, applicants need to prove that they have sufficient funds to study abroad. Specific financial proof materials vary depending on the individual situation, please consult with us.
Non-streamlined applicants need to meet the following financial guarantee requirements:
Bank Deposit Form:
The deposit guarantee must be deposited in a bank account 3 months before submitting the visa application. The deposit can be in the name of the applicant, spouse, parents, grandparents/great-grandparents. If an uncle, aunt, or cousin is an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or New Zealand citizen, their funds can also be used as the applicant's guarantee. These funds must be cash that is available in the bank account. Stocks, funds, and other financial products cannot be accepted. During the visa review period, these funds must be retained in the bank account.
Study Loan Form:
If the applicant cannot provide a bank deposit of more than 3 months, a bank loan can also be accepted. Currently, there are two types of study loans recognized by the Australian Immigration Bureau, cash pledge loans, and property mortgage loans. Cash pledge loans can be processed on the same day as the visa application, and the bank can generally make the loan on the same day. Property mortgage loans usually require at least one week for property assessment and the pledge of some cash. For specific loan methods, please consult with us.
