There are typically three ways to legally stay in Australia after a working holiday visa:
500 student visa: allows for studying English, TAFE vocational schools, or university courses in Australia.
457 temporary work visa (employer sponsorship, which now be replaced by TSS VISA type): for those who have relevant occupational skills and have obtained employer sponsorship approved by the Australian Immigration Bureau, with an IELTS score of at least 5 in each component.
If your English proficiency level is below 5.5, then you should consider starting with English language courses. If you already have an IELTS score of 5.5-6, then you can consider directly studying TAFE vocational courses or university master's programs.

For those who have lower English proficiency, improving their English may be the most urgent matter. In this case, you can consider studying an English course for a period of time to improve your English.
